We don\u2019t really have that problem down here in Phoenix but I\u2019ve lived in places like Alaska, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, and others where it can be an issue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; text-decoration: none; padding: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 25px 0px;\">Normally, winter storms aren\u2019t really an issue. Unfortunately they can occasionally be a REALLY BIG issue if you aren\u2019t prepared for them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; text-decoration: none; padding: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 25px 0px;\">Just to give you an idea of just how bad things can get, check out the list of blizzards that have hit the US that are listed on\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ed702b; text-decoration: none;\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Blizzard\" target=\"_blank\">Wikipedia<\/a>. Brrr!<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 1.5625; text-decoration: none; padding: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 25px 0px;\">During these storms, the safest thing you can do generally is get home and stay home. Unfortunately, not everyone is prepared to do that.
