FBI Raids Federal Contractor\u2019s Home \u2013 Has the Government Identified the \u201cSecond Leaker\u201d? | Liberty Blitzkrieg<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Anyone who has been following Edward Snowden\u2019s heroic whistleblowing,\u00a0and the reporting of Glenn Greenwald\u00a0on the classified documents that prove egregious violations of the United States Constitution by the NSA, will also be aware of speculation that a \u201csecond leaker\u201d had emerged earlier this year. It appears this person may have been identified by the FBI.<\/p>\n

Yahoo News\u2019<\/em>\u00a0Michael Isikoff reports<\/a>\u00a0that:<\/p>\n

The FBI has identified an employee of a federal contracting firm suspected of being the so-called \u201csecond leaker\u201d who turned over sensitive documents about the U.S. government\u2019s terrorist watch list to a journalist closely associated with ex-NSA contractor Edward Snowden<\/strong>, according to law enforcement and intelligence\u00a0sources who have been briefed on the case.<\/em><\/p>\n

The FBI recently executed a search of the suspect\u2019s home, and federal prosecutors in Northern Virginia have opened up a criminal investigation into the matter, the sources said.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
