{"id":7851,"date":"2015-05-05T06:16:51","date_gmt":"2015-05-05T11:16:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=7851"},"modified":"2015-05-05T06:16:51","modified_gmt":"2015-05-05T11:16:51","slug":"experts-are-warning-that-the-76-trillion-dollar-global-bond-bubble-is-about-to-explode","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=7851","title":{"rendered":"Experts Are Warning That The 76 Trillion Dollar Global Bond Bubble Is About To Explode"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/theeconomiccollapseblog.com\/archives\/experts-are-warning-that-the-76-trillion-dollar-global-bond-bubble-is-about-to-explode\" target=\"_blank\">Experts Are Warning That The 76 Trillion Dollar Global Bond Bubble Is About To Explode<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Warren Buffett believes \u201c<a title=\"that bonds are very overvalued\" href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/buffett-i-think-that-bonds-are-very-overvalued-2015-5\" target=\"_blank\">that bonds are very overvalued<\/a>\u201c, and a recent survey of fund managers found that 80 percent of them are convinced that bonds have become \u201c<a title=\"badly overvalued\" href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/blogs\/wonkblog\/wp\/2015\/03\/27\/why-you-shouldnt-lose-sleep-over-the-biggest-bubble-in-the-markets-today\/\" target=\"_blank\">badly overvalued<\/a>\u201c.\u00a0 The most famous bond expert on the planet, Bill Gross, recently confessed that he has a sense that the 35 year bull market in bonds is \u201cending\u201d and he admitted that he is feeling \u201cgreat unrest\u201d.\u00a0 Nobel Prize\u2013winning economist Robert Shiller has added a new chapter to his bestselling book in which he argues that bond prices are \u201cirrationally high\u201d.\u00a0 The global bond bubble has ballooned\u00a0<a title=\"to more than 76 trillion dollars\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bis.org\/statistics\/r_qa1503_hanx18.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">to more than 76 trillion dollars<\/a>, and interest rates have never been lower in modern history.\u00a0 In fact, 25 percent of all government bonds in Europe actually have a\u00a0<strong>negative<\/strong>\u00a0rate of return at this point.\u00a0 There is literally nowhere for the bond market to go except for the other direction, and when this bull market turns into a bear it will create chaos and financial devastation all over the planet.<\/p>\n<p>In a recent piece entitled \u201c<a title=\"A Sense Of Ending\" href=\"https:\/\/www.janus.com\/bill-gross-investment-outlook\" target=\"_blank\">A Sense Of Ending<\/a>\u201c, bond guru Bill Gross admitted that the 35 year bull market in bonds that has made him and those that have invested with him so wealthy is now coming to an end\u2026<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Stanley Druckenmiller, George Soros, Ray Dalio, Jeremy Grantham, among others warn investors that\u00a0<strong>our 35 year investment supercycle may be exhausted<\/strong>.
