In 2014 this translated into over\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ethanolrfa.org\/pages\/statistics\">14 billion gallons<\/a>\u00a0over the course of the year. This staggering figure has far reaching implications for corn prices and agricultural practices.
