Spy Agencies Are Intentionally Destroying Digital Security<\/h3>\n

Top computer and internet experts say that NSA spying\u00a0breaks the functionality of our computers and of the Internet<\/a>. It reduces functionality and reduces security by \u2013 for example \u2013\u00a0creating backdoors that malicious hackers can get through<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Remember, American and British spy agencies have\u00a0intentionally<\/em>\u00a0weakened security for\u00a0many decades<\/a><\/em>. And it\u2019s getting worse and worse. For example, they plan to use automated programs to\u00a0infect millions of computers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Smart Phones Vulnerable to Spying<\/h3>\n

We\u00a0documented<\/a>\u00a0in 2013 that smart phones are very vulnerable to spying:<\/p>\n

The government is spying on you through your phone \u2026 and may even\u00a0remotely turn on your camera and microphone when your phone is off<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As one example, the NSA has\u00a0inserted its code into Android\u2019s operating system \u2026 bugging\u00a0three-quarters of the world\u2019s smartphones<\/em><\/a>. Google \u2013 or the NSA \u2013 can\u00a0remotely turn on your phone\u2019s camera and recorder<\/a>\u00a0at any time.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Google knows\u00a0just about every WiFi password in the world<\/a>\u00a0\u2026 and so the NSA does as well, since it spies so widely on Google.<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s not just the Android. In reality, the NSA can spy on\u00a0just about\u00a0everyone\u2019s<\/em><\/a>\u00a0smart phone.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
