Julian Assange left Belmarsh maximum security prison on the morning of 24 June. \u00a0He was granted bail by the High Court in London and was released at Stansted airport during the afternoon, where he boarded a plane and departed the UK.<\/p>\n

We must acknowledge the \u201cdodgy nature\u201d of the negotiations with the US DOJ: The deal reached on June 24, was that Assange:<\/p>\n

The Northern Mariana are remote islands of 50,000 inhabitants in the Pacific North of Guam which belong to the U.S. Commonwealth.<\/p>\n

Confirmed by media reports (CBS, BBC): Assange will not spend time in US custody. He will receive \u201ccredit for the time spent incarcerated in the UK\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cAssange will return to Australia, according to a letter from the Justice Department\u201d.<\/p>\n

H<\/strong>is\u00a0guilty\u00a0plea to only ONE charge is slated to be finalized in the \u201cRemote\u201d \u201cDistrict C<\/strong>ourt\u201d of \u00a0the Northern Mariana Islands on June 26.<\/strong><\/p>\n
