Plastics are everywhere \u2014 but mostly in places they shouldn’t be<\/a><\/h3>\n

Turns out, maybe we should have been a bit more responsible with how we used plastics.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A new study<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Toxicological Sciences<\/em>\u00a0has millions of people searching the Internet to find out: \u201care microplastics stored in the balls\u201d?<\/p>\n

The short answer is yes, with the understanding \u201cballs\u201d is the colloquial term for testicles. Researchers tested human testicles and dog testicles and found microplastics\u00a0in every sample<\/a>. Back in February, a separate study found microplastics in every sample of\u00a0the human placenta<\/a>\u00a0that was tested. In fact, \u201cthere hasn\u2019t been a body part that people have looked but\u00a0haven\u2019t<\/em>\u00a0found [microplastics] in,\u201d environmental health researcher Tracey Woodruff\u00a0told Scientific American<\/a>.<\/p>\n
