{"id":67434,"date":"2024-04-20T19:00:31","date_gmt":"2024-04-21T00:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=67434"},"modified":"2024-04-20T19:00:31","modified_gmt":"2024-04-21T00:00:31","slug":"why-is-gold-rising-now-where-is-it-headed-tomorrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=67434","title":{"rendered":"Why Is Gold Rising Now, Where Is It Headed Tomorrow?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"font-bold text-3xl md:text-5xl mb-0\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vongreyerz.gold\/why-is-gold-rising-now-where-is-it-headed-tomorrow\">Why Is Gold Rising Now, Where Is It Headed Tomorrow?<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Needless to say, we at VON GREYERZ spend a good deal of time thinking about, well\u2026\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vongreyerz.gold\/why-gold\"><strong>gold<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Complex, the Simple, the Math and the History<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vongreyerz.gold\/insights\"><strong>Year after year<\/strong><\/a>, and week after week, there is always a new way to examine gold price moves and decipher the obvious and not-so obvious forces which flow behind, ahead, above and below its monetary and, yes, metallic, move through time.<\/p>\n<p>Today, deep into the early decades of the 21<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0century, and well over 100 years since the not-so immaculate conception of the Fed in the early 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0century, we could (and have) spent pages and paragraphs on key turning points in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vongreyerz.gold\/golden-advice-bet-against-the-experts\"><strong>the rigged to fail history of paper vs. metallic money<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At times, this effort can and has seemed intense and even complex, with all kinds of historical facts, mathematical comparisons and \u201cbig events.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The turning points of gold\u2019s relationship with fiat currencies, and its role in preserving wealth, for example, are known to an admitted minority\u2014as only about 0.5% of global financial allocations include physical gold.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Gold\u2019s Language<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yet the need, role and direction of gold is fairly blunt, at least for those with eyes to see and ears to hear.<\/p>\n<p>History, for example, has some clear things to say about paper money.<\/p>\n<p>And so does gold.<\/p>\n<p>From the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vongreyerz.gold\/bretton-woods-ii-wont-repair-covid-aftermath\"><strong>Bretton Woods promises of 1944<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vongreyerz.gold\/iconic-america-vs-debt-soaked-america-hard-landing-ahead\"><strong>Nixon\u2019s open and subsequent welch<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on the same in 1971 to the 2001 outsourcing of the American dream to China under Clinton (and the WTO) or the recent\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/vongreyerz.gold\/how-the-west-was-lost-declining-world-reserve-currency\"><strong>weaponization of USD<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in Q1 of 2022, gold has been watching, acting and speaking to those who understand her language.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Big Question: Why Is Gold Rising Now?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;click on the above link to read the rest of the article&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why Is Gold Rising Now, Where Is It Headed Tomorrow?
