Momentum grows for climate emergency declaration<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rep. Earl Blumenauer\u2019s (D-Ore.) \u201cClimate Emergency Act of 2021\u201d has received backing from about 60 Democrats. This legislation demands a climate-related emergency declaration from the Biden administration.<\/p>\n

On another front, U.N. Secretary-General Ant\u00f3nio Guterres issued a dramatic message, declaring that \u201cthe era of global boiling has arrived.\u201d<\/p>\n

Concurrently, media outlets like the Los Angeles Times have suggested deliberate \u201coccasional blackouts\u201d to combat climate change, while The Guardian urges Biden to \u201cdeclare a climate emergency\u201d immediately.<\/p>\n

Mr. Stewart criticized these reports as a \u201cpropaganda war\u201d attempting to \u201ccondition the public to think it is their duty to the State to be miserable, cold, and hungry.\u201d<\/p>\n
