Don\u2019t Let Balloons Distract You from the Global Economic Collapse<\/span><\/a><\/h3>\n

We\u2019re only two months into 2023, and so much water has already passed under the bridge. All I can say is,\u00a0<\/span>what a year this is shaping up to be<\/span><\/em>. Is it just me, or does anyone else feels the same?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To anyone still involved with the\u00a0<\/span>Chinese balloon<\/span><\/a>\u00a0drama, let me remind you that the U.S. (and the entire world, in fact) was invaded by China long ago. Products and dopamine-inducing apps,\u00a0<\/span>farmland<\/span><\/a>\u00a0acquisition, shady investments, and government collusion in some places and continents, and so on are all evidence of this.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

And that\u2019s only what we know of.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

What about the\u00a0<\/span>unknown unknowns?\u00a0<\/span><\/em>I don\u2019t think anyone would be surprised to finds out that there\u2019s more, much more, would they? I wouldn\u2019t, just like I wouldn\u2019t be if it was revealed that\u00a0<\/span>more of these sneaky airships<\/span><\/a>\u00a0have been flying in the stratosphere everywhere since God-knows-when. Very likely.<\/span><\/p>\n

The episode may generate consequences, if only because it\u2019s a powder keg out there. How much should we be concerned? The government and the Chinese can say anything they want, and it won\u2019t impact anyone\u2019s life unless it crashes over their house.<\/span><\/p>\n

A diversion?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s crazy how a device, at the same time old-fashioned and modern, innocent and threatening, can stir up people\u2019s imagination in the era of 5th-generation fighter jets, landing rockets,\u00a0A.I<\/a>., and autonomous vehicles. But whatever, it\u2019s already been shot down, so everyone can move to the \u201cnext thing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

If you want to stay ahead of the curve, there are other events taking place around the globe that deserve more attention. Not only might these have short and mid-term implications, including in our daily routines, but also because they encapsulate important lessons that might help us directly.<\/span><\/p>\n
