Marching Into the New Year with World Wars III, IV, and V (Part 1)<\/a><\/h3>\n

Last year, right after Russian troops entered Ukraine, I\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0that we were already in World War III between the US\/NATO and Russia (\u201cWWIII is not a remote possibility. We are already in it\u201d). I\u2019ve\u00a0repeated<\/a>\u00a0that a number of times, and in\u00a0October<\/a>, gave even odds on the chance of nuclear war. Since then, actions and statements of principals on both sides of the conflict have only confirmed and worsened that assessment.<\/p>\n

Regarding statements, we had Ukraine\u2019s former president, hand-picked by Victoria Nuland,\u00a0admitting<\/a>\u00a0in November that Ukraine used the Minsk Agreements to build a NATO army, to \u201ctrain the Ukrainian military together with NATO to create the best armed forces in Eastern Europe, created according to NATO standards.\u201d That admission was confirmed in December by Angela Merkel, who said that Minsk \u201cwas an attempt to buy time for Ukraine\u2026 to become stronger, as you can see today.\u201d It was re-confirmed by Fran\u00e7ois Hollande, who\u00a0said<\/a>,\u00a0\u201cYes, Angela Merkel is right on this point.\u201d\u00a0 And it was quite emphatically confirmed in January by Ukraine\u2019s Defense Minister, Oleksii Reznikov, who\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0that Ukraine has \u201calready become a de facto member of the NATO alliance\u201d that is \u201ccarrying out NATO\u2019s mission today,\u201d \u201cdefending the entire civilized world, the entire West,\u201d and would \u201cabsolutely\u201d enter formally into NATO.<\/p>\n

The kicker, of course, is \u00a0German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock\u2019s recent\u00a0statement<\/a>\u00a0that \u201cWe are fighting a war against Russia.\u201d It\u2019s a war against Russia she\u00a0intends<\/a>\u00a0to prosecute for \u201cas\u00a0long as\u201d necessary, \u201cNo matter what my German voters think.\u201d<\/p>\n
