Twitter Files Prove America Headed For “Totalitarian State Territory”, Expert Warns<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/header>\n

Thanks to the revelations in the Twitter Files, there\u2019s evidence that the\u00a0FBI<\/a>\u00a0and other agencies worked to suppress \u201clawful speech,\u201d and if this type of action is allowed to continue, the United States is headed for \u201ctotalitarian state territory,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>Matthew Peterson, the cofounder of\u00a0New Founding<\/a>, said in an interview with Epoch Times\u2013NTD collaborative program \u201cNewsmakers<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

New Founding helps people and organizations position themselves to avoid threats from Big Tech and \u201cwoke capital,\u201d and Peterson has two decades of experience in digital media and political consulting.<\/p>\n

When asked what will happen if the country\u2019s current trajectory continues for three to five years, Peterson said,\u00a0\u201cWe\u2019ll be in totalitarian state territory, there\u2019s no question about it.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, remember, this went so far as the government saying, \u2018You need to find evidence that there are Russians influencing the election on Twitter.\u2019 And Twitter saying, \u2018No, that\u2019s not happening.\u2019<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then [Twitter had] to be quiet about it and not even defend themselves when they knew that there wasn\u2019t Russian interference that they could find,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Peterson further explained that the U.S. government drove a narrative that it knew wasn\u2019t true and was the \u201cantithesis\u201d of America\u2019s founding principles.<\/p>\n

\u201c[The government\u2019s actions are] the antithesis of America. The American founding is basically contradicted by what\u2019s happening here, over and over again. And if we don\u2019t do something about that, we will not have free speech in this country,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Peterson warned.<\/p>\n

Peterson pointed out that one of the biggest revelations in the Twitter Files\u2014a collection of internal emails and communications made public by the company\u2019s CEO, Elon Musk\u2014was that the intelligence community\u2019s influence on Twitter was more significant than anyone imagined.<\/p>\n
