That could takes hours, days&#8230; or months.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GAZPROM ISSUES STATEMENT ON NORD STREAM 1 MAINTENANCE<\/li>\n<li>GAZPROM: TRANSPORT OF GAS TO THE NORD STREAM PIPELINE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY HALTED UNTIL FAULTS ARE RECTIFIED<\/li>\n<li>GAZPROM: DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE WORKS OIL LEAKAGE WAS DETECTED<\/li>\n<li>GAS SUPPLIES TO NORD STREAM FULLY STOPPED<\/li>\n<li>GAZPROM STATEMENT\u00a0<strong>GIVES NO TIME FRAME FOR RESTART OF GAS SUPPLY THROUGH NORD STREAM 1<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To quote Walter Sobchak, &#8220;<strong>Mark it zero<\/strong>&#8221; for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/NS1%20sept%202.jpg?itok=ZPSGqRgP\" data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/s3\/files\/inline-images\/NS1%20sept%202.jpg?itok=ZPSGqRgP\" data-link-option=\"0\"><picture><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-images image-style-inline-images\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.zerohedge.com\/s3fs-public\/styles\/inline_image_mobile\/public\/inline-images\/NS1%20sept%202.jpg?itok=ZPSGqRgP\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"246\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"8ce42349-a303-4db6-9871-6753ba7495fe\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" \/><\/picture><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That means that Europe will now be forced to rely even more on&#8230; well&#8230; Russian gas, in the form of much more expensive LNG resold by China.
