The Art of Blending in: 5 Tips from a Counterintelligence Special Agent<\/a><\/h3>\n

As some of you know, before I was a blogger, I spent\u00a0many years as a Counterintelligence Agent, training and working with some of the best government agents and Special Forces personnel in the world. Most of that involved either conducting surveillance or counter-surveillance or activities where you had to know how\u00a0blend in or find people trying to blend in.<\/p>\n

Over the years, I saw some pretty common mistakes when it comes to doing things that give you away to someone who may be targeting you in situations that you may actually face someday.<\/p>\n

This post won\u2019t make you into a secret agent, but it may be the one thing that saves your life, whether you find yourself in\u00a0a short-term natural disaster, are\u00a0traveling through a foreign country with a high\u00a0kidnapping rate,\u00a0or even if some\u00a0worst-case\u00a0event happens and you find yourself living in a collapsed society like we\u2019ve seen in several countries around the world.<\/p>\n
