The one that takes up the most space is about those two little words \u201cfood crisis\u201d that are starting to make headlines. In their words:<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">\u201c<em>We dedicate all our profits to the regeneration of the planet. We even\u00a0<\/em><em><a href=\"https:\/\/click.mlsend.com\/link\/c\/YT0xOTc2NDE4NDMxODM0MDAxNzYxJmM9dzBxNCZlPTUyOTQmYj05ODQwNDYyMzYmZD1lMm0zcDhs.41ppnhV8q1h586klwYC91LL13poW-75WBEVG_O9HRUM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>signed a legal contract<\/u><\/a><\/em><em>\u00a0binding us to our not-for-profit purpose forever. Ecosia can\u2019t be sold \u2026 and we can\u2019t take money out of the company.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">Also in their words:<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">\u201c\u2026\u00a0<em>if everyone switched from Google to Ecosia, we could plant 300 billion trees \u2014\u00a0<\/em><strong>every year<\/strong><em>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">Google offers so many free tools in addition to its search engine that it\u2019s hard to go past them for sheer convenience. That\u2019s one of the reasons they\u2019re so influential and powerful.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">What might a company like Ecosia achieve in the next 10, the next 20, 30 years\u2026 if enough people supported them to enable them to start offering other services the same way Google did?<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">You can read their manifesto\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/click.mlsend.com\/link\/c\/YT0xOTc2NDE4NDMxODM0MDAxNzYxJmM9dzBxNCZlPTUyOTQmYj05ODQwNDYyNDMmZD10NGo0cThn.7Xaln-_DRQFPMd3GyRFJ1kYYdn61jDS9CsO9RD7r_mY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>here<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ethical undies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">Do you wear socks or undies? Me too. And the other day I finally found a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/click.mlsend.com\/link\/c\/YT0xOTc2NDE4NDMxODM0MDAxNzYxJmM9dzBxNCZlPTUyOTQmYj05ODQwNDYyNTAmZD1iMXIxZjZq.CHqJl6LTNe6l_a0v_dvCSEACnAm3z7yniyWl51GWIpM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>socks \u2018n\u2019 jocks company<\/u><\/a>\u00a0that I feel good about buying from. I was so excited, my kids rolled their eyes.
