The U.S. government is waging\u00a0psychological warfare<\/a>\u00a0on the American people.<\/p>\n

No, this is not a conspiracy theory.<\/p>\n

Psychological warfare<\/a>, according to the Rand Corporation, \u201cinvolves the planned use of propaganda and other psychological operations to influence the opinions, emotions, attitudes, and behavior of opposition groups.\u201d<\/p>\n

For\u00a0years<\/a>\u00a0now, the government has been bombarding the citizenry with propaganda campaigns and psychological operations aimed at keeping us compliant, easily controlled and supportive of the police state\u2019s various efforts abroad and domestically.<\/p>\n

The government is so confident in its Orwellian powers of manipulation that it\u2019s taken to bragging about them. Just recently, for example, the U.S. Army\u2019s 4th Psychological Operations Group, the branch of the military responsible for\u00a0psychological warfare<\/a>, released a recruiting\u00a0video<\/a>\u00a0that touts its efforts to\u00a0pull the strings, turn everything they touch into a weapon, be everywhere, deceive, persuade, change, influence, and inspire<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This is the danger that lurks in plain sight.<\/p>\n

Of the many weapons in the government\u2019s vast arsenal, psychological warfare may be the most devastating in terms of the long-term consequences.<\/p>\n

As the military journal\u00a0Task and Purpose<\/em>\u00a0explains, \u201cPsychological warfare is all about influencing governments, people of power, and everyday citizens<\/a>\u2026 PSYOP soldiers\u2019 key missions are to influence \u2018emotions, notices, reasoning, and behavior of foreign governments and citizens,\u2019 \u2018deliberately deceive\u2019 enemy forces, advise governments, and provide communications for disaster relief and rescue efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n
