Baking powder is a must for homemade pancakes, waffles, and quick breads.<\/p>\n<p>So, this is a good time to repurchase and start the new year fresh.<\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0 Besides,\u00a0<b>baking soda<\/b>\u00a0has a lot of other uses:\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/baking-soda-uses-around-the-house_l_5e3dfc3dc5b6bb0ffc1120d4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">21 Clever Uses For Baking Soda Around The House | HuffPost Life<\/a><\/p>\n<p>*\u00a0 I got an advertisement for a\u00a0<b>\u201cHealing Garden\u201d<\/b>\u00a0today in the mail.\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.superseeds.com\/products\/long-lived-healing-herbal-garden-kit?_kx=JPnfBNI8d5Zbjul1iwBQf63VesYlGGDNntt3Ft2jgV0%3D.gDufjw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Healing Herbs Garden Kit<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Many of these herbs I\u2019ve bought online, usually dried.\u00a0 Some of them I\u2019ve tried growing myself, although I\u2019m still not very good at it.\u00a0 Growing herbs and flowers is different from growing vegetables.\u00a0 It\u2019s a good variety, however, and includes echinacea, calendula, marshmallow, mint, chamomile, lavender, and yarrow (among other things).\u00a0 I grew yarrow once and even used it to make a<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4219 alignright lazyloaded\"
