Where Everyone And Everything Will Be Monitored On The Internet<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Can you imagine a world where your home, your vehicles, your appliances and every single electronic device that you own is constantly connected to the Internet?\u00a0 This is not some grand vision that is being planned for some day in the future.\u00a0 This is something that is being systematically implemented right now.\u00a0 In 2015, we already have \u201csmart homes\u201d, vehicles\u00a0<a title=\"that talk to one another\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mainstreet.com\/article\/vehicle-vehicle-communication-could-revolutionize-car-insurance\" target=\"_blank\">that talk to one another<\/a>, refrigerators<a title=\"that are connected to the Internet\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/2014\/10\/is-your-refrigerator-running\/\" target=\"_blank\">that are connected to the Internet<\/a>, and televisions\u00a0<a title=\"that spy on us\" href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/davelewis\/2015\/02\/10\/is-your-tv-spying-on-you\/\" target=\"_blank\">that spy on us<\/a>.\u00a0 Our world is becoming increasingly interconnected, and that opens up some wonderful possibilities.\u00a0 But there is also a downside.\u00a0 What if we rapidly reach a point where one\u00a0<strong>must<\/strong>\u00a0be connected to the Internet in order to function in society?\u00a0 Will there come a day when we can\u2019t even do basic things such as buy, sell, get a job or open a bank account without it?\u00a0 And what about the potential for government abuse?\u00a0 Could an \u201cInternet of Things\u201d create a dystopian nightmare where everyone and everything will be constantly monitored and tracked by the government?\u00a0 That is something to think about.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the Internet has become such an integral part of our lives that it is hard to remember how we ever survived without it.\u00a0 And with each passing year, the number of devices connected to the Internet continues to grow at an exponential rate.\u00a0 If you have never heard of the \u201cInternet of Things\u201d before, here is a little bit about it
