But they don\u2019t keep for very long and after you\u2019ve given basketfuls of them to your friends and eaten stir-fried leafy greens, leafy greens in soups, in stews, and added to salads, and they\u2019re still coming, what do you do with them next?<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Below is a basket of produce from our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.permaculturenews.org\/2021\/09\/20\/modular-veggie-growing-with-cut-off-barrels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>modular veggie garden<\/u><\/a>. Here are two ideas for preserving leafy greens when this happens to you. The first is a bit of an experiment.
