The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/schiffgold.com\/peters-podcast\/peter-schiff-non-transitory-worse-than-expected-inflation\/\">CPI for September came in above expectations<\/a>\u00a0with a month-on-month increase of 0.4%. Peter Schiff appeared on Unfiltered with Dan Bongino to talk about inflation in Joe Biden\u2019s America. Peter said you should stock up now because things could get ugly really quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Bongino pointed out that while wages are rising, they aren\u2019t rising as fast as prices. Wages have risen 4.6% while inflation has surged by 5.4% \u2014 according to government numbers. Peter said that is typically the trend.<span id=\"more-29926\"><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The price of labor never keeps up with the price of stuff.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Stock up now! This could get very ugly, very quick.\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WoepwSVjmCc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Peter said the real problem is during and after COVID, a lot of Americans stopped working.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Unfortunately, they didn\u2019t reduce their spending because the government made the mistake of replacing the incomes they lost with new money that the Federal Reserve was printing. So, we were making fewer things to buy, but everybody had more money to buy stuff, and so, prices just went ballistic. And they\u2019re going to keep going up.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Bongino pointed out that the rich have accounts and hedge mechanisms to shield themselves from the impacts of inflation. But what does an average middle-class family do to avoid the financial apocalypse of inflation coming down the pike?<\/p>\n<p>Peter said, first of all, remember that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/schiffgold.com\/videos\/peter-schiff-inflation-is-really-a-tax\/\">inflation is a tax<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>So, when the Biden administration says they\u2019re not taxing people that make less than $400,000, they\u2019re hitting them with this huge inflation tax.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So, how do you avoid it?<\/p>\n<p>Peter said, \u201cStock up now!\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Buy the things that you think you may need a year from now, two years from now.
