Yikes!<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.firstrebuttal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/IMG_0061.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1578\" src=\"http:\/\/www.firstrebuttal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/IMG_0061.png\" alt=\"IMG_0061\" width=\"360\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is a screen shot from my iPhone about a week ago. \u00a0And really this says it all. \u00a0Breaking news is highlighting the all time highs again while the underlying economic news is negative across the board. \u00a0No other time in history could the economy be in such dire straits and have the market completely apathetic to it. \u00a0Whether it\u2019s total debt, Consumer debt, retail sales, housing, productivity, inventories, full time jobs, GDP, wages, just about any indicator it is negative.<\/p>\n<p>And if we put it in the context of having such extreme monetary policies with the sole intent\u00a0toward all of these moving in a highly positive direction the above indications\u00a0aren\u2019t just terrible they are frightening. \u00a0It\u2019s kind of like when you\u2019re in a fight and you\u2019ve just hit the other guy\u00a0with your best punch and he doesn\u2019t flinch. \u00a0You start to think this ain\u2019t\u00a0going to end very well. \u00a0I expect the Fed folks are suffering from a case of the \u2018oh shit that was the best I got\u2019 syndrome.<\/p>\n<p>Our nation\u2019s \u2018best and brightest\u2019 economists and financial \u2018experts\u2019 have created policies that are their best ideas to generate economic growth and these policies have failed completely. \u00a0The only thing preventing this nation from a full on collapse is an all time high stock market. \u00a0And that is the only reason the market is at all time highs. \u00a0\u00a0Volume is sparse, institutional money is on the sidelines and every damn metric you can think of is falling apart yet markets are at all time highs, thanks to the Fed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;click on the above link to read the rest of the article&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>And I Didn\u2019t Even Mention Greece, the End of the Euro or Evil Russia!!
