Mr. Hormats joined the December 2009 meeting in Beijing.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Mr. Hormats says there was no relation between Microsoft\u2019s donations and the State Department\u2019s participation in the China conference.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Before every overseas trip, says Mr. Hormats, the former undersecretary of state, he helped prepare a list of U.S. corporate interests for Mrs. Clinton to advocate while abroad.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 From the Wall Street Journal article:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/hillary-clintons-complex-corporate-ties-1424403002\">Hillary Clinton\u2019s Complex Corporate Ties<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you can\u2019t beat em, mock em.
