No one was to be allowed to leave wherever he or she happened to be. All flights, trains (after 167 years of continual operation) and road transportation came to a complete, shrieking halt.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-55424\" src=\"https:\/\/acting-man.com\/blog\/media\/2021\/04\/nowhere-1024x831.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/acting-man.com\/blog\/media\/2021\/04\/nowhere-1024x831.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/acting-man.com\/blog\/media\/2021\/04\/nowhere-300x244.jpg 300w, https:\/\/acting-man.com\/blog\/media\/2021\/04\/nowhere-768x623.jpg 768w, https:\/\/acting-man.com\/blog\/media\/2021\/04\/nowhere.jpg 1200w\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"519\" \/>Stranded in India\u2026 [PT]<\/p>\n<p>Tens of millions of people \u2014 myself included \u2014 got stuck wherever they were.<\/p>\n<p>People were not allowed to leave their homes, not even for grocery shopping, the latter of which was amended after a few days when the government realized that people needed to eat.
