but he\u2019d &#8220;never raised the topic of violence \u2014 until now.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Valliere said he was\u00a0<strong>&#8220;stunned to see much of the city boarded up&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong>while driving through downtown Washington over the weekend, and flagged disruptions in Portland, Ore., and elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;In a country this angry &#8211;
