Twitter has\u00a0announced the rollout<\/a>\u00a0of even more censorship policies in the lead-up to the November US presidential election.<\/p>\n

\u201cStarting next week, when people attempt to Retweet a Tweet with a misleading information label, they will see a prompt directing them to credible information about the topic before they can amplify it,\u201d Twitter\u00a0informs us<\/a>, with \u201ccredible information\u201d of course meaning information from the same mass media outlets who\u2019ve lied to us about every American war throughout their entire existence.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re taking more steps to encourage thoughtful amplification by preventing Tweets that have been \u2018followed by\u2019 and \u2018liked by\u2019 accounts you don\u2019t follow from showing up in your timeline,\u201d\u00a0adds Twitter<\/a>, as though the social media\u00a0echo chamber<\/a>\u00a0that is\u00a0turning us all into idiots<\/a>\u00a0wasn\u2019t bad enough.<\/p>\n
