Which opens up a ton of questions.<\/p>\n<p>Readers are left guessing as to how and why law enforcement would want to use S.M.A.R.T. until you start to read between the lines.<\/p>\n<p>You see, S.M.A.R.T. is really just an acronym for smart cities and everything it entails. Wi-Fiber uses Smart Mesh, Edge Computing, Inter-Operability, Visualization, Cloud and G.A.R.I.2.\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a0G.A.R.I.2\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wi-fiber.us\/ai_gari.pdf\">PowerPoint Presentation<\/a>\u00a0reveals exactly why police are so excited to purchase Wi-Fiber.<\/p>\n<p>All of these smart city devices are designed to do two things, be accessible by one platform and provide intelligence in real-time. As Canton, Ohio Police Chief\u00a0 Jack Angelo\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wi-fiber.us\/future.html\">said<\/a>, &#8220;the more and more we dug into it, we saw that it was going to be probably more of a cost-effective solution.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"testi-meta\">A recent\u00a0<i>Columbus-Dispatch<\/i>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dispatch.com\/story\/news\/local\/canton\/2020\/09\/21\/canton-police-continue-to-expand-wi-fiber\/114103088\/\">article<\/a>\u00a0was a little more revealing.<\/div>\n<div class=\"testi-meta\">\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Wi-Fiber technology has proven more useful to police than the ShotSpotter system it replaced,\u00a0 &#8220;We get a lot more out of cameras and license plate reading than we do out of the shot detection,\u201c Chief Angelo said.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>How are police departments getting more intelligence out of Wi-Fiber than license plate readers and ShotSpotter?
