{"id":53913,"date":"2020-06-28T08:35:42","date_gmt":"2020-06-28T13:35:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=53913"},"modified":"2020-06-28T08:35:45","modified_gmt":"2020-06-28T13:35:45","slug":"europe-on-alert-after-unknown-radioactivity-spike-detected-over-baltic-sea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=53913","title":{"rendered":"Europe On Alert After Unknown Radioactivity Spike Detected Over Baltic Sea"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/health\/europe-alerted-after-spike-nuclear-particles-detected-over-baltic-scandinavia\">Europe On Alert After Unknown Radioactivity Spike Detected Over Baltic Sea<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Almost a year ago Russia admitted to releasing significant amounts of radiation into the air that triggered warning alerts in the region of the far north Arctic Circle port cities of&nbsp;Arkhangelsk and Severodvinsk, after&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2019-08-12\/russia-belatedly-admits-mystery-blast-involved-mini-nuclear-reactor\">a failed weapons test involving a<\/a>&nbsp;\u201csmall-scale nuclear reactor\u201d that killed Russian scientists &#8211; which was believed connected to Russia&#8217;s hypersonics program.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We can&#8217;t help but recall that incident now with new reports of radiation sensors based in Scandinavia&nbsp;<strong>again picking up abnormal radioactivity&nbsp;levels in the air<\/strong>. Perhaps there&#8217;s some further failed weapons tests happening somewhere in the region?:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;Radiation sensors in Stockholm have detected<strong>&nbsp;higher-than-usual but still harmless levels of isotopes produced by nuclear fission, probably from somewhere on or near the Baltic Sea<\/strong>, a body running a worldwide network of the sensors said on Friday,&#8221;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-nuclear-particles-baltic\/sensors-detect-rise-in-nuclear-particles-on-baltic-sea-global-body-says-idUSKBN23X2TN\">Reuters<\/a>&nbsp;reports.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe allowfullscreen=\"true\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/embed\/index.html?dnt=false&amp;embedId=twitter-widget-0&amp;frame=false&amp;hideCard=false&amp;hideThread=false&amp;id=1276559857731153921&amp;lang=en&amp;origin=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.zerohedge.com%2Fhealth%2Feurope-alerted-after-spike-nuclear-particles-detected-over-baltic-scandinavia&amp;siteScreenName=zerohedge&amp;theme=light&amp;widgetsVersion=b930ccc%3A1593122803960&amp;width=550px\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) confirmed the higher than normal activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its ultra-sensitive networked sensors set up across Europe and the world are&nbsp;<strong>capable of picking up&nbsp;nuclear weapons testing when it occurs anywhere around the globe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Reuters reports further, the Stockholm monitoring station&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;detected 3 isotopes;
