Now, the technology is being used for police robot dogs and for herding sheep. That means that robots are even coming for our K9 friends\u2019 jobs. Aye caramba!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CNET&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/news\/boston-dynamics-robot-dog-spot-herds-sheep-like-a-pro-in-new-video\/\">reports<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Humans and dogs aren\u2019t the only ones who can master the art of herding livestock.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/pictures\/boston-dynamics-robot-family-spot-atlas\/\">Boston Dynamics\u2019 four-legged robot dog Spot<\/a>&nbsp;seems to be doing a fine job of maneuvering sheep across the pasture.<\/p><p>In a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/RBLnAhzPpTQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new video<\/a>&nbsp;posted by robotics software company&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rocos.io\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rocos<\/a>&nbsp;on Tuesday, Spot is seen roaming the New Zealand grasslands, showing off its shepherding skills with a group of sheep.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"777\" height=\"437\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RBLnAhzPpTQ?feature=oembed\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Large creepy robot dogs aren\u2019t just being used for corralling a herd of sheep. They are also being used to enforce social distancing amid this CV pandemic.&nbsp;<em>Activist Post<\/em>&nbsp;previously&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2020\/05\/metalhead-darpa-robot-enlisted-by-police-to-enforce-social-distancing.html\">highlighted<\/a>&nbsp;this scary new robotic dog being used by police in Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"777\" height=\"437\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jinCfHnVTws?feature=oembed\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Video of Boston Dynamics robots climbing stairs, carrying boxes, and doing basic&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2018\/10\/atlas-robot-boston-dynamics-bullies-parkour.html\">parkour<\/a>&nbsp;have long circulated around the internet, creeping out viewers. In fact,&nbsp;<em>Activist Post<\/em>&nbsp;has covered each and every one of these videos but we never thought that the creepy robotic dog at Boston Dynamics would be anything more than just an experiment; we were totally wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It turns out that the Massachusetts State Police and Singaporean authorities are both using \u201cSpot,\u201d and the trend will only spread like what has happened with pandemic drones. As&nbsp;<em>Activist Post<\/em>&nbsp;previously&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2020\/03\/post-coronavirus-future-injectable-biosensors-a-i-virus-detection-robots-and-a-cashless-society.html\">wrote,<\/a>&nbsp;CV will be a gateway for all types of Orwellian technology and will speed up the deployment of robots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While record unemployment is hitting here in the U.S., automated machines are being rolled out as well to replace even more human workers.
