{"id":52939,"date":"2020-05-02T07:10:49","date_gmt":"2020-05-02T12:10:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=52939"},"modified":"2020-05-02T07:10:55","modified_gmt":"2020-05-02T12:10:55","slug":"u-s-public-debt-increases-more-in-april-than-during-entire-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=52939","title":{"rendered":"U.S. Public Debt Increases More In April Than During Entire 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/srsroccoreport.com\/u-s-public-debt-increases-more-in-april-than-during-entire-2019\/\">U.S. Public Debt Increases More In April Than During Entire 2019<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The U.S. public debt increased at the fastest rate ever during April.&nbsp; Due to the negative economic impacts stemming from the global contagion, the U.S. Treasury increased the federal debt by a whopping $1.3 trillion in a single month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The additional $1.3 trillion of U.S. public debt during April would purchase approximately one-third of all the physical gold investment bullion in the world, which currently stands at $4.1 trillion.&nbsp;<strong>In just one month (April), Uncle Sam\u2019s printing press or digital monetary liquidity could purchase 750 million oz of gold.&nbsp; That 750 million oz of gold would be 67% of the total Central Bank Gold Reserves.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, at some point, the Fed and central bank monetary insanity will come back to BITE THEM HARD\u2026 LOL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the data from TreasuryDirect.gov, the U.S. public debt increased by $1,287 billion ($1.28 trillion) during April:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d39ua1j16brbz0.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/US-Debt-Increase-2019-Monthly-Average-vs-April-2020.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21953\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now compare that to the average monthly U.S. public debt increase of $106 billion in 2019.&nbsp; Thus, the U.S. public debt increase in April was even higher than in Full-Year 2019:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d39ua1j16brbz0.cloudfront.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/US-Debt-Increase-Full-Year-2019-vs-April-2020.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21955\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>While it took twelve months for the U.S. Treasury to add $1,207 billion in debt (2019), it only took one month to increase it to $1,287 billion (April).<\/strong>&nbsp;I don\u2019t believe Americans understand how much damage is being done to the U.S. Government Balance Sheet.&nbsp; Unfortunately, it\u2019s only going to get worse going forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is impossible to forecast the collapse of the U.S. Bond Market or U.S. Dollar.
