The indigenous leader of a socialist South American government which has successfully&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sunraysunray\/status\/1193637264691286019\">lifted masses of people out of crushing poverty<\/a>, which happens to control the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/bolivias-evo-morales-plans-lithium-mining-offensive\/a-39727810\">world\u2019s largest reserves of lithium<\/a>&nbsp;(which may one day replace oil as a crucial energy resource due to its use in powering smartphones, laptops, hybrid and electric cars), which has an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.counterpunch.org\/2008\/11\/18\/orchestrating-a-civic-coup-in-bolivia\/\">extensive<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.opendemocracy.net\/en\/bolivian-democracy-vs-united-states\/\">well-documented<\/a>&nbsp;history of being&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/inthesetimes.com\/article\/3562\/recruiting_spies_in_the_peace_corps\">targeted for regime change<\/a>&nbsp;by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.telesurenglish.net\/news\/Bolivia-Audios-Linking-Civic-Ex-Military-and-US-in-Coup-Plans-20191105-0001.html\">US government<\/a>, simply stepped down due to some sort of scandal involving a \u201cdisputed election\u201d.
