(Boeing edition)<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.epsilontheory.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Dick-FUld.png\" alt=\"Dick Fuld\" class=\"wp-image-14701\"\/><figcaption>That\u2019s Dick \u201cGorilla\u201d Fuld, former CEO of Lehman Brothers, who oversaw a criminal fraud conspiracy that went by the name of Repo 105.\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dick Fuld never saw a courtroom, much less a jail cell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.epsilontheory.com\/repo-105\/embed\/#?secret=Kq13YxM51T\" width=\"600\" height=\"278\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>When was I radicalized?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>When Dick Fuld walked away scot-free from Lehman with half a billion dollars in cash comp and stock sales during his tenure.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I thought of Dick Fuld today when I saw this picture and read this article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.epsilontheory.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Boeing-CEO.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22351\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/prosecutors-face-complex-path-to-charging-boeing-over-737-max-11572777000?\"><strong>Prosecutors Face Complex Path to Charging Boeing Over 737 MAX<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;[<em>Wall Street Journal<\/em>]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>To bring a successful criminal case against Boeing itself, prosecutors would have to show that executives repeatedly concealed or ignored the 737 MAX\u2019s engineering problems, experts said.&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>And there is a larger economic and political component: A corporate indictment and potentially huge sanctions must be balanced against the economic and national-security risks of incapacitating the country\u2019s second-biggest defense contractor.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg, about to testify before Congress about the 737 MAX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The article is correct, of course. There\u2019s no way that the Justice Dept. will ever bring a criminal case against Boeing, not one that hits top management or really shackles the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And I know that Boeing said today that Muilenburg won\u2019t get a bonus or (more) stock grants until the 737 MAX is flying again, but this article got Radical Me thinking \u2026&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>I wonder how much money Muilenburg and his management team and his board of directors have pocketed since he took over as CEO in 2015 and Chairman in 2016?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>I wonder if executive compensation practices have changed over that span since \u2026 you know \u2026 Boeing started buying back nine billion dollars of stock every year?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;\u2026click on the above link to read the rest of the article\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When Was I Radicalized?
