Here Is Why:<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>On January 27th, Ukraine\u2019s Ministry of Defense headlined\u00a0<a title=\"\u201cMilitants Continue to Suffer Losses,\u201d\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mil.gov.ua\/news\/2015\/01\/27\/bojoviki-prodovzhuyut-nesti-vtrati--\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cMilitants Continue to Suffer Losses,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0and reported that four helicopters, and other weapons of the \u201cmilitants,\u201d were destroyed in battle, but no evidence was given to support the assertion.<\/p>\n<p>Just two days prior, the (also\u00a0<em>pro<\/em>-Government)\u00a0<em>Kiev Post<\/em>\u00a0had, in fact, bannered\u00a0<a title=\"\u201cUkraine Hides Devastating Losses as Russia-Backed Fighters Surge Forward,\u201d\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kyivpost.com\/multimedia\/photo\/ukraine-hides-devastating-losses-as-russia-backed-rebels-surge-forwards-378321.html\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cUkraine Hides Devastating Losses as Russia-Backed Fighters Surge Forward,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0and reported \u201cUkraine\u2019s worst-kept secret \u2014 that the Ukrainian army is drastically understating its casualties.\u201d After detailing, there, what seems to be outrageous unconcern by the Government, for the welfare of troops it\u2019s sending into battle (even by jamming battlefield-injured soldiers into regular civilian hospitals, which aren\u2019t equipped to handle their injuries), this report ends with a doctor saying, \u201cIt\u2019s bad everywhere. Yes, the soldiers are still standing at their positions ready to fight. But we don\u2019t see any help coming for them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Ukrainian news agency RIAN headlined on January 26th,\u00a0<a title=\"\u201cMobilization in Dnipropetrovsk Almost Drowned,\u201d\" href=\"http:\/\/rian.com.ua\/story\/20150126\/362589244.html\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cMobilization in Dnipropetrovsk Almost Drowned,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0and reported, \u201cIn Dnipropetrovsk region [which is run by\u00a0<a title=\"the U.S. White House\u2019s friend, the Ukrainian-Swiss-Israeli billionaire Ihor Kolomoysky\" href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonsblog.com\/2014\/05\/key-man-behind-may-2nd-odessa-ukraine-trade-unions-building-massacre-many-connections-white-house.html\">the U.S. White House\u2019s friend, the Ukrainian-Swiss-Israeli billionaire Ihor Kolomoysky<\/a>, whose longstanding personal mercenary army has, alone, more than 5,000 fighters], thousands of men are hiding from the draft.
