Intellectual terror reigns in France.<\/li><li>France is moving from a &#8220;muzzled press to a muzzling press that destroys free speech&#8221;. \u2014 Alain Finkielkraut, writer and philosopher.<\/li><li>Writers other than \u00c9ric Zemmour have been hauled into court and totally excluded from all media, simply for describing reality.<\/li><li>In a society where freedom of speech exists, it would be possible to discuss the use of these statements, but in France today, freedom of speech has been almost completely destroyed.<\/li><li>Soon in France, no one will dare to say that any attack openly inspired by Islam has any connection with Islam.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On September 28, a &#8220;Convention of the Right&#8221; took place in Paris,&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lefigaro.fr\/politique\/marion-marechal-egerie-d-une-convention-de-la-droite-20190903\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">organized<\/a>&nbsp;by Marion Marechal, a former member of French parliament and now director of France&#8217;s Institute of Social, Economic and Political Sciences. The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wRBigVf70rc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">purpose<\/a>&nbsp;of the convention was to unite France&#8217;s right-wing political factions. In a keynote&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ShnG7yThD7o\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">speech<\/a>, the journalist \u00c9ric Zemmour harshly criticized Islam and the Islamization of France. He&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theamericanconservative.com\/dreher\/eric-zemmour-blockbuster-speech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">described<\/a>&nbsp;the country&#8217;s &#8220;no-go zones&#8221; (<em>Zones Urbaines Sensibles<\/em>; Sensitive Urban Zones) as &#8220;foreign enclaves&#8221; in French territory and depicted, as a process of &#8220;colonization&#8221;, the growing presence in France of Muslims who do not integrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zemmour quoted the Algerian writer Boualem Sansal, who&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IpADSKqcefE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>&nbsp;that the no-go zones are &#8220;small Islamic Republics in the making&#8221;.
