Wakeup Calling\u00a0<\/strong>
humanity rages
destruction in stages
of everything under the sun<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the birds and the bees
the rivers and trees
it seems like the end has begun<\/p>\n\n\n\n


a population of people
turned into sheeple
conditioned to crave more and more<\/p>\n\n\n\n

life based on greed
want, desire and need
leads to nothing but war<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the planet is dying
the animals crying
the forests all being cut down<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the climate is hot
except when it\u2019s not\u00a0
and some say we\u2019re all going to drown<\/p>\n\n\n\n

we eat poison foods
take meds for our moods
we\u2019re so ill we cannot take action<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to keep us asleep
the tendrils run deep
with all manner of lies and distraction<\/p>\n\n\n\n

we cut the tops off the hills
down below oil spills
for us to progress, it is said<\/p>\n\n\n\n

it\u2019s hard not to believe
if we do not grieve
soon we all will be dead\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

living in fear
something is near
now we are all scared to death<\/p>\n\n\n\n

chaos and change
can often feel strange
please just take a deep breath<\/p>\n\n\n\n

so what can we do
just me and you
to turn this whole thing around?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

one way to recall
our connection to all
is to put our bare feet on the ground<\/p>\n\n\n\n

now feel the Earth
remember its worth
let the energy run through your soul<\/p>\n\n\n\n

look deep in your heart
that\u2019s where you start
to connect yourself to the whole<\/p>\n\n\n\n

this cannot be solved
if you don\u2019t get involved
start now, there\u2019s no time to wait<\/p>\n\n\n\n

change how you\u2019re living
stop taking, start giving
please, before it\u2019s too late<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and so there you are
if you\u2019ve made it this far
three last things I will say if I may<\/p>\n\n\n\n

begin with a bow
stay here in the now
and remember to breathe every day
