If you help circulate war propaganda, you\u2019re as complicit as the one who pushes the button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many believe that the mass media just tell whole-cloth, outright lies all the time, but that\u2019s not usually how it works. What they do is selectively omit inconvenient facts, disproportionately amplify convenient facts, and uncritically report on dubious government assertions.&nbsp;Basically they only tell the truth when it\u2019s convenient for them, and when it\u2019s inconvenient they are silent.
