Report: US Planning \u201cMassive\u201d Airstrike On An Iranian\u00a0Facility<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

According to a new article<\/a> from English-language Israeli publication The Jerusalem Post<\/em>, the Hebrew-language Israeli publication Maariv <\/em>has reported that diplomatic sources in the UN are assessing a US plan to conduct a \u201cmassive\u201d airstrike on \u201can Iranian facility linked to its nuclear program\u201d in response to alleged attacks on two sea vessels in the Gulf of Oman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe sources added that President Trump himself was not enthusiastic about a military move against Iran, but lost his patience on the matter and would grant Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who is pushing for action, what he wants,\u201d The Jerusalem Post<\/em> reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This news comes after public statements by Pompeo<\/a> that the US is considering a \u201cfull range of options\u201d against Iran. It also comes as 1,000 additional US troops are being sent to the Middle East<\/a> to \u201caddress air, naval, and ground-based threats\u201d there. It also comes amid sightings of depraved war criminal Henry Kissinger<\/a> at the Pentagon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
