And also: Thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But Germany didn\u2019t just fall short of its climate targets. Its emissions have flat-lined since 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now comes a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spiegel.de\/plus\/energiewende-in-deutschland-murks-in-germany-a-00000000-0002-0001-0000-000163724123\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">major article<\/a>&nbsp;in the country\u2019s largest newsweekly magazine,&nbsp;<em>Der Spiegel<\/em>, titled, \u201cA Botched Job in Germany\u201d (&#8220;<em>Murks in Germany<\/em>&#8220;).
