The Atlantic Council dictates to Facebook who is allowed on the platform and who is purged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because the Atlantic Council is funded in part by the United States government\u2014and they are making decisions for Facebook\u2014this negates the claim that the company is private.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since our six million followers and years of hard work were wiped off the platform&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thefreethoughtproject.com\/media-purge-facebook-begins-revised\/\">during the October purge<\/a>, TFTP has consistently reported on the Atlantic Council and their ties to the social media giant. This week, however, we\u2019ve discovered something just as ominous\u2014the government to Facebook pipeline and revolving door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a telltale sign of a corrupt industry or company when they create a revolving door between themselves and the state.
