“I\u2019m Committing Professional Suicide”: CBS Star Reporter Admits “Mostly Liberal” Journalists Are Now “Political Activists”<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

CBS News<\/em> chief foreign affairs correspondent Lara Logan has broken ranks and admitted that journalists have lost their objectivity and become “political activists.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During an appearance on the Mike Drop podcast with retired Navy SEAL Mike Ritland, Logan admitted that “the media everywhere is mostly liberal, not just the U.S.,” adding that it was nearly impossible for viewers to decipher if they were being told the truth at any given time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“85% of journalists are registered Democrats<\/strong>,” Logan said. “How do you know you\u2019re being lied to? How do you know you\u2019re being manipulated? How do you know there\u2019s something not right with the coverage?<\/strong>\u00a0When they simplify it all [and] there\u2019s no grey. It\u2019s all one way. Well, life isn\u2019t like that. If it doesn\u2019t match real life, it\u2019s probably not. Something\u2019s wrong.\u00a0For example, all the coverage on Trump all the time is negative. \u2026 That\u2019s a distortion of the way things go in real life<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“There’s no grey. It’s all one way,” said Logan.\u00a0 ~All coverage of Trump was negative -that’s distortion We abandoned our pretense to be objective <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Logan says that the heavy bias has warped people’s ability to know what’s really true<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“When you turn on your computer, or you walk past the TV, or you see a newspaper headline in the grocery store If they\u2019re all saying the same thing, the weight of that convinces you that it\u2019s true,” said Logan. “You don\u2019t question it, because everyone is saying it.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also admitted that journalists today are more or less lobbyists for liberal interests, <\/strong>adding that the weight of the liberal media machine overwhelms “the other side” unless people actively seek outlets such as Breitbart<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
