Today, as we prepare to close out the old, we offer a vast array of tidings. \u00a0We\u00a0 bring words of doom and despair.\u00a0 We bring words of contemplation and reflection.\u00a0 And we also bring words of hope and sunshine.<\/p>\n

After all, the New Year\u2019s nearly here.\u00a0 What better time than now to turn over a new leaf?\u00a0 New dreams, new directions, and new delusions, are all before us like a patch of ripe strawberries.\u00a0 Today\u2019s the day to make a double-fisted grab for all of them \u2013 and more.<\/p>\n

Rest assured, 2019 will be the year that everything happens precisely as it should.\u00a0 Some good.\u00a0 Some bad.\u00a0 Indeed, each day shall unfold before you in symbiotic disharmony. \u00a0You can count on it.<\/p>\n

But what else?\u00a0 What are the essential anticipations as we embark on a new voyage around the sun?\u00a0 What about stocks, the 10-Year Treasury note, gold, and everything else?\u00a0 Are we fated for complete societal breakdown?\u00a0 Will this be the year the Fed put finally bites the dust?<\/p>\n

Today we attempt to answer these questions \u2013 and many others \u2013 with meekness and modesty.\u00a0 Predicting the future, like Fed monetary policy, is primarily guesswork.\u00a0 But unlike the Fed, we acknowledge we\u2019re merely throwing darts in a blizzard.<\/p>\n

By all accounts, our methodology is as unscientific as prophecy via tarotology.\u00a0 We shun common forecasting techniques for a conjectural approach.\u00a0 First, we engage all matters of fact, fiction, fakery, and fraud.\u00a0 Then, through induction, deduction, biased interpolation, gut check filtration, and metaphysical reduction, we arrive at precise, unequivocal answers.<\/p>\n
