The sanctions which have already been implemented have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtoninstitute.org\/policy-analysis\/view\/irans-economy-is-stagnating-even-before-new-u.s.-sanctions-hit\">already badly hurt<\/a> the Iranian economy, the sting of which is being felt first and foremost by Iran\u2019s poor and sickly.<\/p>\n<p>In an article titled \u201c<span class=\"article-classifier__gap\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/4577599a-dbd4-11e8-9f04-38d397e6661c\">Iran\u2019s poor to bear brunt of Trump\u2019s oil sanctions<\/a>\u201c, <em>Financial Times<\/em> documents how poor Iranians are already strained to the breaking point from the cutbacks they\u2019ve had to make in food and groceries. An article titled \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.csmonitor.com\/World\/Middle-East\/2018\/1029\/In-Iran-US-sanctions-are-being-felt-with-harsher-measures-to-come\">In Iran, US sanctions are being felt, with harsher measures to come<\/a>\u201d by the <em>Christian Science Monitor<\/em> details difficulties Iranian charities are having getting medicine to sick children, including chemotherapy treatment, having already run out of four life-saving drugs. In an article titled \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.al-monitor.com\/pulse\/originals\/2018\/10\/us-fails-shield-humanitarian-trade-iran-sanctions.html#ixzz5VYFri3MQ\">US fails to shield humanitarian trade with Iran as sanctions loom<\/a>\u201c, <em>Al Monitor<\/em> details the way humanitarian aid, while ostensibly exempt from the sanctions, has been severely impacted by their economic aspect because humanitarian aid costs money. The <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em> further explains the effects of America\u2019s economic warfare on ordinary Iranian civilians in an article titled \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/iran-moves-to-shelter-millions-as-u-s-sanctions-bite-1540459800\">Iran Moves to Shelter Millions as U.S. Sanctions Bite<\/a>\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>This is <em>before<\/em> the US implements a new level of attacks upon Iran\u2019s oil industry, a primary economic lifeline, which is scheduled to begin on November fifth.
