Tropical storm warnings extend to surrounding areas, including Bahia Tempehuaya, Playa Perula, and Puerto Vallarta.<\/p>\n<p><a data-image-external-href=\"\" data-link-option=\"1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/Willa%20warning.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/inline_image_desktop\/public\/inline-images\/Willa%20warning.png?itok=kFQHhqvo 1x\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"277\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"c40ee5e2-3936-4174-b499-961c29414dac\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Forecasters expect the storm to make landfall this evening just south of Mazatlan, a resort town with about 500,000 people mainly from U.S. and Canada, said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/world\/the_americas\/category-4-hurricane-willa-threatens-mexicos-pacific-coast\/2018\/10\/22\/b36f10a4-d658-11e8-8384-bcc5492fef49_story.html?utm_term=.af5b685ef826\">The Washington Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When Willa&#8217;s core slams into the resort town this evening, there is <strong>a strong possibility that widespread tree damage, power outages, flooding, and structural damage could be seen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a data-image-external-href=\"\" data-link-option=\"1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/Willa%20winds.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/inline_image_desktop\/public\/inline-images\/Willa%20winds.png?itok=MJrjsdPY 1x\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"279\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"0b606dd9-b87e-4b97-9038-6a400c11241d\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/weather.com\/storms\/hurricane\/news\/2018-10-22-hurricane-willa-pacific-ocean-mexico-landfall\">The Weather Channel<\/a> expects six to 12 inches of rain &#8212; and at most 18 inches &#8212; in and around landfall areas.
