made only months ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2018-09-06\/syrian-regime-change-table-trump-does-180-shift-syria-wapo-sources\">and has approved<\/a>\u00a0<em><strong>&#8220;an indefinite military and diplomatic effort in Syria&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>according to a bombshell\u00a0<em>Washington Post\u00a0<\/em>report.<\/li>\n<li>Russia has\u00a0put the US military on notice, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2018\/09\/06\/politics\/syria-russia-attack-warning-pentagon\/index.html\">telling American commanders<\/a> that <strong>Russian and Syrian forces are prepared to attack\u00a0<\/strong><em><strong>At Tanf<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 <\/em>a key US garrison along the Syrian-Iraq border.<\/li>\n<li>A top US Syria policy representative says <strong>there&#8217;s\u00a0\u201clots of evidence\u201d chemical weapons are being prepared by the Syrian Army for use in its impending Idlib ground assault<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/American%20Jet%20Syria.jpg?itok=J2x7TlQj\" data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/American%20Jet%20Syria.jpg?itok=J2x7TlQj\" data-link-option=\"0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/American%20Jet%20Syria.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/inline_image_desktop\/public\/inline-images\/American%20Jet%20Syria.jpg?itok=J2x7TlQj 1x\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"ce167ecf-2b29-4337-800a-bb9de3108835\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Perhaps most alarming concerning all of the above is that the threatened US &#8220;response&#8221; and rhetoric over potential future use of chemical weapons in Idlib is dramatically escalating by the day.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday night Reuters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/Breaking-News\/US-envoy-says-there-is-evidence-Syria-preparing-chemical-weapons-566756?utm_source=dlvr.it&amp;utm_medium=twitter\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>There is &#8220;lots of evidence&#8221; that\u00a0chemical\u00a0weapons\u00a0are being prepared by\u00a0Syrian government forces in\u00a0Idlib\u00a0region in northwest\u00a0Syria<\/strong>, the new US representative for\u00a0Syria\u00a0said on Thursday, warning any attack on the last big rebel enclave would be <strong>a &#8220;reckless escalation.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Any offensive is to us objectionable as a reckless escalation,&#8221; the envoy, Jim Jeffrey, told reporters. <strong>&#8220;There is lots of evidence that\u00a0chemical\u00a0weapons\u00a0are being prepared.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This comes days after US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley gave a similar warning, while also claiming to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2018-09-06\/psychic-nikki-haley-if-there-future-chemical-weapons-attack-assad-did-it\">somehow predict the future<\/a>, and assuring the world that &#8220;Assad is guilty&#8221;
