California peaked in February of 1987 at 1,109,000 bpd.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20329\" src=\"http:\/\/peakoilbarrel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Alaska.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 754px) 100vw, 754px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/peakoilbarrel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Alaska.jpg 754w, http:\/\/peakoilbarrel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Alaska-300x165.jpg 300w\" alt=\"\" width=\"754\" height=\"414\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Alaska was down 45,000 barrels per day in June to 451,000 bpd. June, July, August, and part of September are the prime maintenance months for Alaska. The maintenance includes pigging the pipeline and overhauling the pumps along the pipeline.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20330\" src=\"http:\/\/peakoilbarrel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Gulf-of-Mexico.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 758px) 100vw, 758px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/peakoilbarrel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Gulf-of-Mexico.jpg 758w, http:\/\/peakoilbarrel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Gulf-of-Mexico-300x165.jpg 300w\" alt=\"\" width=\"758\" height=\"417\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Gulf of Mexico was up 154,000 barrels per day in June to 1,658,000 bpd. Just a couple of years ago the EIA was predicting the GOM to be at almost 2 million barrels per day by now. I really don\u2019t think that is going to happen anytime soon.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20332\" src=\"http:\/\/peakoilbarrel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/US-Less-Texas-and-New-Mexico.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 759px) 100vw, 759px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/peakoilbarrel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/US-Less-Texas-and-New-Mexico.jpg 759w, http:\/\/peakoilbarrel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/US-Less-Texas-and-New-Mexico-300x159.jpg 300w\" alt=\"\" width=\"759\" height=\"402\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I wanted US Less Permian but the EIA doesn\u2019t break it out that way. So I will just have to settle for all the Permian plus Eagle Ford and East Texas. East Texas is in decline while Eagle Ford is still increasing.
