The Media and Our \u201cIgnorant, Credulous and Propagandized People\u201d<\/a><\/h3>\n

I find it sad and sickening that most Americans, and the corporate media that shapes them, are more concerned about the effects of Russian \u201cmeddling\u201d on our \u201cdemocracy\u201d than they are about our own home-grown oligarchs, who are not only meddling, but have bought Congress and turned this wonderful democracy we\u2019ve been told we have into a joke\u2014an anti-democratic cesspool.<\/p>\n

In my view, the Koch brothers, among a host of others, present more danger to the U.S. than Putin could ever dream of.\u00a0 Christ, when are people ever going to accept the truth; the real danger is home-borne?<\/p>\n

Like any other disease on the Centers for Disease Control\u2019s<\/a>fluctuating, potentially terminal watch list.<\/p>\n

All nations fail on their own accord\u2014it doesn\u2019t take meddling from abroad when the cards are stacked against the oppressed in their own nation.<\/p>\n

People watch too much TV.\u00a0 It\u2019s sad they choose to ignore how duped they are by corporate media.<\/p>\n

A mass uprising against the American oligarchs would leave Putin with nothing.\u00a0 After all, his American friends are our real enemies. Trump doesn\u2019t even register, because he\u2019s an incompetent flailing in the wind. \u00a0Paul Ryan counts.\u00a0 Mitch McConnell counts.\u00a0 They\u2019re Koch friends and benefactors, and business with Russia counts for them. They\u2019re all for it, as long as it\u2019s done properly\u2014oligarch-to-oligarch, and in a far-less messy tyle than Trump\u2019s deals.<\/p>\n

You simply cannot trust the wall of obfuscation that surrounds us now, filtered through corporate media.\u00a0 With the party elites fighting each other over the \u201cspoils of globalization\u201d and the press-release media following along, the situation is untenable for ordinary men and women who cannot keep up with the cost of housing, education, health care and a Sundae at the local ice cream parlor.<\/p>\n
