Chinese authorities have warned through state media that they will survive the trade war with the US.<\/p>\n<p>As tariffs are added and prices go up on goods and services\u00a0to combat increasing government regulation of the economy, China insists it can handle a trade war with the US.\u00a0 Of course, they can; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shtfplan.com\/headline-news\/financial-experts-warn-americans-will-pay-the-cost-of-a-trade-war_07182018\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">since American consumers are going to be ones footing the bill for this horrific idea.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The declaration of a survival of the trade war appears to be in response to the Chinese government\u2019s announcement on Friday, that<a href=\"http:\/\/fortune.com\/2018\/08\/03\/china-retaliatory-tariffs-on-us\/\">\u00a0a list of possible tariffs could affect imported goods.<\/a> The tariffs\u00a0range from 5% to 25% on $60 billion worth of U.S. agricultural, metal, and chemical goods. The tariffs would go into effect if the U.S. makes good on its threat to raise tariffs to 25% on some $200 billion worth of Chinese goods.<\/p>\n<p>The next day, President Donald Trump said the U.S.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/fortune.com\/2018\/08\/05\/trump-china-tariff-battle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">still has the upper hand<\/a>\u00a0in the trade war, but according to most financial and economic experts, Trump is wrong. \u201cChina has to defend its right to development, and we don\u2019t fear sacrificing short-term interests,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.globaltimes.cn\/content\/1113991.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Global Times<\/em>\u00a0wrote in<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.globaltimes.cn\/content\/1113991.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">an editorial<\/a>. \u201c<strong>The U.S. is trying to conclude the trade disputes swiftly, but China is prepared for a protracted war<\/strong>\u2026In future, the U.S. economy will depend more on the Chinese market than the other way around.\u201d But the editorial also highlighted China\u2019s rationality and said its people do not want a trade war.<\/p>\n<p>Well, the American\u00a0people don\u2019t want a trade war either, and frankly, they can\u2019t afford it.\u00a0 The Chinese actually have <a href=\"https:\/\/mises.org\/library\/chinese-savings-vs-american-spending\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">savings on hand to spend in case of emergency.\u00a0 <\/a>The same cannot<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2018\/03\/15\/bankrate-65-percent-of-americans-save-little-or-nothing.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> be said about the average American. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2026click on the above link to read the rest of the article\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>China Taunts The US: \u2018We WILL Survive Your Trade War\u2019 China is taunting the United States over the tension increasing trade war.
