Brokerage firms in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other countries have done the same. Commissions are at stake! They have set up units in China and are partnering with Chinese real estate portals, such as Juwai.com.<\/p>\n<p>Warren Buffett\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/wolfstreet.com\/stock\/brk.a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Berkshire Hathaway<\/a> HomeServices, a subsidiary of HomeServices \u2013 the second largest residential brokerage in the US \u2013 entered the fray <a href=\"https:\/\/wolfstreet.com\/2017\/04\/17\/warren-buffett-berkshire-hathaway-markets-u-s-homes-in-china-juwai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">belatedly a year ago<\/a> with a marketing agreement with Juwai.com \u201cto syndicate all of its franchisees\u2019 residential listings.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And not just in the trophy cities on the coasts, but all of Berkshire\u2019s listings, anywhere.<\/p>\n<div id=\"ntv1047604-245878-2189\" class=\"ntv-moap ntv1047604-245878-2189\">\n<div class=\"ntv-start\">\n<p>One of the properties it offers on Juwai.com today is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.juwai.com\/30571813.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this mansion<\/a> on 8387 Ford Road, Superior Township, Michigan:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-42323\" src=\"https:\/\/wolfstreet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/China-birkshire-homes-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"441\" height=\"246\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Scrolling down the page of any of these listings reveals four red buttons that lead to the crux of these deals for Chinese investors (so-so translations below):<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-42324\" src=\"https:\/\/wolfstreet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/China-birkshire-homes-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"209\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Top left: Guide on how to buy a house in the US.<\/li>\n<li>Top right: Guide with maps of school districts and housing around the \u201ctop 100\u201d universities.<\/li>\n<li>Bottom left: Guide for obtaining a US investor immigrant visa EB-5<\/li>\n<li>Bottom right: Guide on how to apply for study abroad.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And these brokerage firms in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other countries are doing expos and conferences in China to lure investors to make the leap.
