An Apple spokesman, for example, said that the company relied on private access to Facebook data to allow users to post on the social network without opening the Facebook app, among other things.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/img_8488_0.jpg?itok=xXgGfF8r\" data-image-external-href=\"\" data-image-href=\"\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/img_8488_0.jpg?itok=xXgGfF8r\" data-link-option=\"0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/img_8488_0.jpg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/inline_image_desktop\/public\/inline-images\/img_8488_0.jpg?itok=xXgGfF8r 1x\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" data-entity-type=\"file\" data-entity-uuid=\"5d42eee2-3dcf-4614-a600-17ec154d5cab\" data-responsive-image-style=\"inline_images\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s more,\u00a0the manufacturers were able to access the data of users&#8217; friends\u00a0without their explicit consent, despite Facebook declaring they would not let outside companies access user data. The catch?
