{"id":33183,"date":"2018-04-06T10:23:58","date_gmt":"2018-04-06T15:23:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=33183"},"modified":"2018-04-06T10:23:58","modified_gmt":"2018-04-06T15:23:58","slug":"russia-demolishes-uk-poisoning-hoax-during-emergency-security-council-meeting-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=33183","title":{"rendered":"Russia demolishes UK poisoning hoax during emergency security council meeting (Video)"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header entry-header-01\">\n<h3 class=\"g1-mega g1-mega-1st entry-title\"><a href=\"http:\/\/theduran.com\/russia-demolishes-uk-poisoning-hoax-during-emergency-security-council-meeting-video\/\">Russia demolishes UK poisoning hoax during emergency security council meeting (Video)<\/a><\/h3>\n<p class=\"entry-subtitle g1-gamma g1-gamma-3rd\"><strong>Russian UN envoy exposes UK poisoning hoax during security council meeting.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"g1-content-narrow g1-typography-xl entry-content\">\n<p>Russia\u2019s UN envoy blasted the UK\u2019s attempt to blame the poisoning Sergei and Yulia Skripal on Moscow, describing the entire hoax as a \u201ctheater of absurd.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The extraordinary UN Security Council meeting was requested by Russia, following the <a href=\"http:\/\/theduran.com\/uk-porton-down-lab-unable-to-identify-russia-as-source-of-novichok-poison\/\">announcement made by the secretive British Porton Down<\/a> chemical laboratory, that it had <strong>not<\/strong> established that the Novichok nerve agent used in the poisoning was of Russian origin.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/news\/423329-unsc-meeting-skripal-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RT<\/a>, top British officials explicitly cited the Porton Down laboratory when pinning the blame on Moscow, so following this revelation their theory started to fall apart, said Vasily Nebenzia, noting that the UK\u2019s secret agencies rushed to help the government, producing new claims based on some \u201cintelligence data.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Nebenzia asked\u00a0a series of questions pointing to inconsistencies of the UK\u2019s narrative.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI don\u2019t even know how to comment on this. It\u2019s some sort of the theater of absurd. You couldn\u2019t have come up with better fake story?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cWhy did we have to wait eight years and [then] decided to [attack the Skripals] two weeks before the elections and several weeks before the world cup?<\/strong> Why did we release him from the country in the first place? Why do that in extremely public and dangerous fashion.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/j6rS8KEmlA4?version=3&amp;rel=1&amp;fs=1&amp;autohide=2&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;wmode=transparent\" width=\"662\" height=\"403\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/news\/423329-unsc-meeting-skripal-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RT reports<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The fact that the victims of the nerve agent, which is believed to be among the deadliest, managed to survive the attack has also raised serious questions, Nebenzia said. It could be explained only if an antidote had been administered to them immediately after the exposure. British officials, however, insisted that no antidote was used, since none existed in the first place.
