Any such unlawful use of force, similar to what happened almost a year ago at the Shairat air base, would be an act of aggression against a sovereign state, as defined by the relevant article of the UN Charter,\u201d <\/strong>he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Washington had the previous experince of launching a military intervention without the consent of the United Nations Security Council, when President Donald Trump lobbed 59 Tomahawk missiles onto Syria\u2019s\u00a0Shairat airbase in April 2017.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/muraselon.com\/en\/2018\/03\/will-southwest-syria-be-the-next-battle-after-east-ghouta\/\">Muraselon news agency<\/a>, Syrian forces have acquired most of the eastern Ghouta region through \u201cachieving sweeping military victories or concluding evacuation deals.\u201d The independent media outlet says Syrian forces \u201cwill most probably be heading to the country\u2019s south in order to secure the borders with Jordan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Could Syria\u2019s\u00a0southern border with Jordan be the\u00a0next confrontation zone in the country\u2019s\u00a0multiple regional wars?\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sputniknews.com\/military\/201803251062888226-military-vehicles-arrive-jordan\/?utm_source=https:\/\/t.co\/hUj5xKpC19&amp;utm_medium=short_url&amp;utm_content=hdf7&amp;utm_campaign=URL_shortening\">Sputnik news agency<\/a>\u00a0recently uncovered leaked images of U.S. military equipment arriving in Jordan\u2019s\u00a0Aqaba Industrial Port via the vehicle carrier ship \u201cLiberty pride\u201d for the upcoming participation in the annual war drill \u201cEager Lion.\u201d During the unloading process, the images reveal the \u201cM1A2 Abrams main battle tanks, the M113\u2019s\u00a0variation for medical evacuation and the M2A3 Bradley armored personnel carriers\u201d were offloaded\u00a0from the 199-meter (652 feet) military transport vessel, said\u00a0Sputnik.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/sites\/default\/files\/inline-images\/Screen-Shot-2018-03-26-at-8.27.24-AM.png?itok=MvXgLDSI\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sputnik indicates that Eager Lion war drill is an important military exercise between the U.S. Armed Forces and Jordanian Armed Forces, along with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain. Further, the war drill could flare up tensions on the Jordan\u2013Syria border, and as we know, sometimes war drills go live.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cSaudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and other US allies will join the \u201cEager Lion\u201d military exercises, which have been conducted every year since 2010.
